Nameless

The doggie fills our lives, and I call home every day to find out how it is doing. It likes to snuggle at my parents' feet though both pretend to complain that he's too much work and I can take him.

I blasted the breeder for giving us a sick dog, but he protested it wasn't sich when he sold it and that he didn't cheat us. He even offered to take him back and help it recover.
His tummy is still upset but hopefully he will get better. He received his first vaccination today.
When last heard, KK our help was trying to get paanal leaves to remove the evil eye on the dog.
P.s. The name is still a debate, and we call him doggie.
Reminds me of my bro who had no formal name until he joined school at age 3. Until then he was Little Boy (its translation in Malayalam).
The first lab we had was a pure white one and was a gift to dad from his student. I remember the awe of seeing the pup in the carton box dad brought by bus. Dad named it after President Jimmy Carter.
The second lab was Bruno according to its KCI papers and we were spared the agony of naming him. I bought him from a Tamil family in 1998, I think. I brought him home by train.
Now, my parents want either of these names for the pup while we are asking to choose from the suggestions we have all given - Rufus, Rocco, Barney, Shadow, Timmy etc. My preferences had been Paachu and Sandy.
Meanwhile, our help's son Achu who spends his non school hours with the pup is asking his mother to sell their goats and get a dog like this 😀

As we say in Malayalam, what came like a mountain or landslide went away like a rat. Expecting a counteroffensive after Orange Man's lat...
