But the name sounds grand for a dog. Also, it seems my grandma's dad once had a dog called Brutus and dad having spent some part of his college years there probably finds a connect.
Brutus is being spoilt rotten - I ordered a bed and blanket for him on Amazon. Whether my parents will agree to let him use it is the question now.
Strangely, we have one more eczema case now. Brutus has dry skin and I see him scratching his skin occasionally. His tummy is better but he is ravenous - probably a sign of a growing pup.
It was brother's birthday yesterday, and I ordered a cake from home baker Hilda Anne in Mylapra. Despite her lack of social skills - not acknowledging a payment or message - I persisted and ordered a white forest cake and momos. Everyone invited - the helps KK and co, Shanta and family, two family friends - loved it apparently though R said the bread part was dry while the momos were a disaster. Anyway, there was vadas and puffs too and payasam that KK and Raghu made, so the helps had a gala time feeling happy and important. Mom despite here friendliness with her assistants is caste-conscious, which spoils celebrations in the real spirit.
