Torture

In my efforts to teach Ashwin basic skills around the house, I have not been very successful. I've almost given up on making him vaccum his room, wash his underwear,  fold his laundered clothes etc. Most tasks I've given up after a couple of attempts. But not so the laundry. I let the clothes be on his bed in the hope he will do it but today i had to do it myself ( Mira in her teens is extremely non malleable and refuses to follow instructions.) Ash however allows me to bully him occasionally - fill the water jug or return the empty cups and plates that accumulate on his table after a day's online class.

What i was saying was that i finally had to fold his clothes and put them away. I didn't do it quietly though. I told him he should've done it. To which he said: "let them be. Why do you have to torture the clothes like you torture me?! "
