The best birthday gift this year - or a day before - was a work from home opportunity through a journalist cum freelancer acquaintance. After toying with the idea of starting a day after the bday, I decided to jump in early. I had quit the full-time job late last year, and had been freelancing occasionally. And also tending to my sore back, which months of sitting in office had gifted me once again.
So this is bliss - to be busy from 10 to 6 am or later, but having the freedom to put my leg up or nap or attend home chores. It is not great pay wise but suits me.
