After 2 weeks, I have quit the WFH. The problem with it was that there is no time away from work though I get time to rustle up lunch etc. But it often exceeded normal working hours and I was often working in the night giving me no breathing space and making me feel very tensed.
To top it, there was another gig I was doing and for which I couldn't find time for. Then there was Mira's Boards which started today. The only help she needs from me is with English lessons - reading lessons with her or explaining a poem.
So I am glad I left it yesterday to devote some time for her. After all, for companies/employers once you are "out of sight, out of mind", so there shouldn't be misgivings about giving it up for family. The regret you may feel for not being there for a family member will never go, so it is wiser to choose the latter.
