Hi, I am very much around :) The book festival wound up on Sunday 22nd and we had good crowds in the weekend despite the semi mourning mode. The entertainment by the Brick People changed to more cultural and environmental themes from pure song and dance and mime. Many of my features and reports got published in the newspapers.
Today I had a compensatory off, and another I will take on Wednesday. Tomorrow I would like to be in office as it is the last day of my dept head. She's quitting and heading to another Gulf country to be with her hubby who is working there and since her newborn needs two parents' care. Which is very sad for me professionally as she is the kindest and most patient boss I've had. I am still learning a few things, and she has been very supportive.
The office continues to be a happy and transparent place, though warding off sleep during the long hours is pretty tough. Unlike the old office, this is a small setup , so I dont have a canteen to escape to. A couple of days I sent to Sanjeev Kapoor's Yellow Chilli across the road for tea and snacks.
Ash is having his Boards, and three are over. Another 3 to go.
