On to Kickboxing

I am trying to get Ash to join kickboxing at the same gym me and Mira go for yoga-aerobics classes. So ysterday I dragged him there for a trial session. Though he wasn't very impressed and kept saying he prefers boxing, I found the training very interesting and worthwhile. The cheerful Algerian trainer mixes the class with some warm-up and agility tests.

I have promised Ash a Starbucks drink a month, if he does it. I am hoping it will help him develop height, stamina and energy. He has agreed to, for my sake. As a parent, I occasionally set my heart on achieving some targets for the children - like going all out to shift them to French in high school and making the impossible happen, initially with the help of online tutions from India in the pre-Covid era when online platforms were all blocked here. The school reluctantly agreed, and I had two kids who passed 10th with over 70-80% marks in French (which would've been merely 40-50% if it were Hindi).

Brother and children had recently joined for kickboxing, so he encouraged us to join too. And when the training happens so close by, one has to make the best use of it.
