The best part about eating a palappam is having the crispy frills first - no curry or sugar needed.
We had a decent and happy Christmas eve, with Vs friend and family coming home for dinner. Although it spoiled my plans of sorting and packing the kids' gifts, it was nice to have company. We followed it up with a trip to our church in Oud Mehta and was there to see the clock strike 12 midnight.
Today hence is relaxation day - I managed on appam-stew leftovers for breakfast, Spinneys salads for lunch and a Vietnamese dinner in the company of Vs cousin and niece, working in Dubai.
