Passover fish

The kids are not too fond of vattayappam, the rice cake made on Passover. V brought a few pieces from the church while the maid made some with jaggery instead of sugar. The jaggery one didnt appeal to them, so the maid told them that it was made by Jesus specially for them. Mira wanted to know where the fish was! She associates Jesus' culinary skills with the loaves of bread (for us, appam) and fish he fed the multitudes. 

 

Been missing out on my shopping expeditions, save for the annual sale at Pantaloons and Cottonworld. So yesterday evening, after work, I made a trip to a boutique called Shreyas recommended by a friend to add a few accessories to my depleting ethnic wear collection.
