Kitchen rejarring

I am on a kitchen reorganisation spree after accidentally coming across a vlog while studying why Indians are rushing to the UK to work or study. The first batch of the so-called BPA-free plastic containers came from Amazon and out went my irregular, erratic tins and empty jam bottles and yoghurt tubs. To think I lived on them for seven years! That is quite expected from expats in the Gulf who look at their adopted land as a temporary halt - uncertain jobs and the hope of returning to our verdant homeland with some savings, and in the last two decades a possible migration to Canada, Australia etc. 

The second batch of glass jars from Amazon came broken - one or two of them - and I returned them. 

Now waiting for hubby to escort me to IKEA on a weekend to get some glass jars.
