To get even with Ash, Mira plays the 'black' card at times - picking on his skin colour. But Ash is cool about it and says it doesnt affect him. 

"I'm used to being insulted since the time I was a kid in Chennai", he laughs. "Black Lives Matter!"

Mira tells me she is surprised by the reverse racial discrimination at home. Usually, fair skinned people are preferred by everyone, why is it that I/we prefer Ash to her.

I tell her this is positive racial discrimination.
