My professor and guide for MPhil passed away yesterday. He was suffering from intestinal cancer for over a year.
Sad to say, I never found time to visit him and his family in the last 7 years. The last I went to their place was to invite for my wedding, I think. I am ashamed of myself.
Maybe I should get V to drive down to his place on a Sunday with the kids.

How sad I am sorry
Very True.. many a times we take on life as if we are travelling in a car where the world just passes away in a jiffy, although we think many times to stop the car and get down and meet somebody.... but it never happens...AM
hi,
thats the reason i try to meet/call as many as possible while i visit mds..
here too.. many times wanted to visit patients with cancer/Alzimer and 'cos i could not go.. was praying for them...
so i did not feel as bad ..
my hubby was very upset as he was telling will go and he passed away and they even cremated him.. they did not even have service.
but when i heard he was in last mins.. prayed and felt a bit better when i heard it was the same time i prayed the person had passed away.
take care
usha
