View from above

A procession late at night to a temple, dragging on a pull-cart a deity adorned by massive floral garlands... God know what it was about, but there were a dozen kids dancing/prancing in front of the cart.
Ash loved the drums, but Mira was frightened by the petty crackers that caused much sound though no fury!

hi,keep a look out for such and much more such beautiful sights esp late at night with loud noises/crackers etc.. we had planty of those thanks to staying close to the temple..take care ust

Thanks EB, his eye seems much better, but it was a good thing he thought of going to the dr. instead of just letting it pass.

I am a Christian - a Syrian Orthodox Christian at that, similar to the Russian and other Eastern Orthodox churches.
The procession was a Tamil Hindu one - there is a difference in the rituals and festivals of Hindus of each Indian State. I enjoy the rich diversity of our festivals, especially the Hindu ones though I dont observe them myself.

 When Mira came home on vacation two weeks back, her demands included watching two Malayalam movies in theatre - Sookshmadarshini & All ...
