I've been reading your blog this morning -- and loving it, by the way . I saw your post about Ash's eczema. Have you tried giving him essential fatty acids (fish oils, evening primrose oil, flax oil, etc.)? Those oils (taken as a supplement, not as a skin cream) may help his skin a lot. Also, you mention brittle nails in your profile. Zinc deficiency can cause brittle nails -- and if Ash's zinc is low, too, it may contribute to his skin problems. Perhaps a good zinc supplement would help him, too.
I know it is odd to email a stranger who is ten time zones away, but I wanted to email, in case it helps. My son has been helped so much with simple things like essential fatty acids and zinc. Perhaps similar nutrients will help your adorable son, too.
I've really enjoyed reading about your life in India. Thanks for blogging about it!
Namaste,
Lisa
